Volunteers play an important and invaluable role here at Holly Lodge Community Centre!
Being a volunteer is not just about giving up a few hours of your time to help others. Along with particpating in something worthwhile, it offers the chance to make new friends, learn new skills and build confidence.
Current Volunteering Opportunities :
Monday Lunch: Every Monday
We run a low cost lunch club on Mondays and volunteers play an important role in ensuring the guests have a great experience through serving the food, washing up and adding to the friendly atmosphere.
Social walks:
We run a walking group once a month and volunteers are essential to ensuring that walkers stay on the right path and feel included socially.
We provide:
Travel and lunch expenses – Volunteers get lunch expenses (if volunteering for a full day) and travel expenses paid while giving their time here.
References – If you volunteer for three months, we can provide you with a reference on request.
