Are you looking for a space to hire in North London? Would you like to hold classes, lectures, workshops, seminars, meetings, or other events?
We have space available on the beautiful Holly Lodge Estate in Highgate. The Community Centre is situated at 30 Makepeace Avenue, London N6 6HL.
It has wheelchair access, toilets and a kitchen. Parking is available on Swains Lane, and buses C11, 88, 210 and 214 pass close by. The nearest tube is Archway (15-minute walk), and the nearest Overground station is Gospel Oak.
Can be hired for occasional or regular events some weekdays, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Normally, our main hall can hold up to 80 people, depending on the type of event.
Main hall space approximately 9m x 9m, which can extend to 9m x 13m with folding doors open.

TERMS OF HIRE
Hire charge for the main hall space: Pricing available on request.
A deposit of up to £50 is required. This will be returned unless there is cleaning or damage to the premises.
Music
No loud amplified music is permitted as the community centre is below sheltered accommodation. Gentle music is allowed. Unfortunately the community centre is not available for holding parties.
Parking
Parking on the Holly Lodge Estate is for residents or permit holders. You may park while loading or unloading supplies or equipment, or while working or visiting the Community Centre, but must clearly display a large note in the windscreen stating that you are visiting us, with the date and your mobile number. There are limited free parking spaces in Swains Lane and the surrounding area.
Use of the kitchen

Our professional kitchen is available to hire as well;
If you wish to cook using the kitchen, you must use a professional caterer with appropriate insurance and supply evidence of this in advance. We reserve the right to refuse permission to use the kitchens or to charge an additional deposit.
Terrace
Restricted use of the terrace may be available – no smoking, using mobiles, or unsupervised children here. Please do not move any terrace furniture or plants without prior permission. The terrace is shared with sheltered housing residents – we cannot guarantee exclusive access.
Fire exits and extinguishers comply with all health and safety requirements.
